Leticia Castro Model

Leticia Castro is best known as a TV Personality for her participation in Univision Network’s hit show “Nuestra Belleza Latina” where she managed to shine atop of thousands of latin ladies across the US whom auditioned to be in the competition, Leticia captivated the audience with her charisma, personality, and enthusiastic smile.. Which led her to place as 4th runner up nationwide. Later, Leticia became a finalist in yet another nationally broadcasted show, SiTV’s Model Latina. This opportunity led her to work as a TV Host in Entertainment & Community segments with Univision Nevada as well as partnering Radio Stations.

Leticia Castro was born October 17 in California from Mexican parents, but quickly adopted the city she now calls home.. Viva Las Vegas!

Leticia started her modeling and still novat acting career at the age of 15, after her participation in a beauty pageant where she took home the people’s choice crown & place as runner up.. There on that stage she experienced for the first time the sweet taste of a real large audience applause and decided that the feeling was something she wanted to keep with her for the rest of her life. She received a scholarship to a prestigious modeling and acting academy and went on to prepare herself with training in the fields and continued to participate in the beauty pageants. Giving her more confidence, experience, and the chance to help others through community service and work with various non-profit organizations.

Leticia was discovered at the age of 5 at a mall in California. Her parents say she was a camera lover way before she could even walk and talk.. that her smile attracted people since they can remember! Being such a small child her parents decided to not go further into the entertainment industry so her little girl could enjoy a normal life and decide a career path on her own.. Naturally the discovery came again for Leticia at a local mall, only this time it was in Las Vegas at the age of 15, and from there her history is still being written.

Victoria’s Secret – model Fontana in new Pirelli - Calendar

Photographed the models in divine poses for the last edition of the prestigious Pirelli Calendar, the latest 2012 Calendar is apparently back with a touch of more seductiveness. Instead of pretty ladies in classical postures, no less a figure than the pretty “Victoria’s Secret”-model Isabeli Fontana is posing in front of the camera. Although the Calendar will be officially presented in December, the first pictures are already making the rounds. According to the photos that are currently circulating, it’s obvious that also big names such as Kate Moss, Lara Stone, Rinko Kikuchi, Saskia de Brauw, and Milla Jovovich will feature the calendar.

Not jsut in front, but also behind the camera, the stars of the calendar aren’t unknown personalities. After Lagerfeld, this time the Italy-born and in New York based celebrity photographer Mario Sorrenti pressed the shutter button for the beauties. We will see in December how the complete work in its highlights is going to look at the end. By the way: The calendar is not available for purchase and is only passed to big names and to exclusive customers of the tyre-manufacturer.

Miranda Kerr is coocoo for coconut oil

Lovely Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr revealed her most precious beauty secret. Coconut oil sales are said to have skyrocketed after the 28-year-old beauty revealed she is an avid consumer and has used the product since her mid-teens.

Kerr was quoted in Australia's Cosmopolitan magazine saying that coconut oil was the key to her clear skin, shiny hair and slim figure. The model-mom said she ingests a certain amount daily, either on salads, in her cooking or in her cups of green tea.

Nonetheless, nutritionist Keith Ayoob is skeptical about the benefits of the product. "I can't say I'd want people consuming lots of coconut oil. You should use it sparingly." said the nutrition director at the Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

According to Ayoob, coconut oil is simply a saturated fat, with a high calorie count and few vitamins and minerals. Kerr's reported four daily tablespoons (117 calories each) would mean she consumes 468 calories, in addition to the calories from the rest of her diet.

However, Kerr later lashed out at the magazine for misquoting and misrepresenting her use of the oil after experts warned people about consuming excessive amounts. "I never did an interview with Australian Cosmopolitan magazine and unfortunately they have misquoted and misrepresented comments posted on my blog."

"When it comes to coconut oil, I personally find it beneficial and use approximately four teaspoons of coconut oil a day (in my salads and meals), not tablespoons," reported Kerr to the Herald Sun.

"Everyone is different, but that is what works for me and I prefer it as a substitute to other oils more readily used in day-to-day food preparation and cooking. I suggest people consult with their health practitioner for what is right for them," added the Victoria's Secret model.

Back in April, the model assured Harper's Bazaar that she wouldn't rename herself "Lauren Lauren" post-wedding. "I think it will be Lauren Bush-Lauren," she said." That's not final, but I think it's nice to have the same name as your husband. I am sort of old-fashioned in that way.”

While many details about the wedding were kept quiet before the big day, on Sunday morning, Bush sent out a Twitter message that read, "Good morning world... I'm getting married today! Yay! Xo." Lauren Bush's famous paternal grandparents missed out on the big day. A rep for George H.W. and Barbara Bush told ABCNews.com that the couple wouldn't be able to attend due to the ranch's high altitude, which could threaten their health; they reportedly sent a video message played during Saturday's rehearsal dinner. Attendees did include the younger President George Bush, former First Lady Laura Bush, their daughters Barbara and Jenna, and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, plus members of the Lauren family.

Among the guests who attended the ceremony at the Lauren family's Double RL Ranch near Telluride: Ivanka Trump. She brought her daughter to Colorado with her and tweeted: "This was a weekend of many firsts for Arabella. First flight, first gondola ride and, tomorrow, first Rodeo!"

Amsterdam Street Fashion

Bangkok Fashion & Clothing

Bangkok has long shed its reputation for merely offering bargain clothing and fake merchandise or apparel at the city's numerous markets and street vendors. The Thai capital has emerged as a truly hip fashion hub in Asia, setting new parameters for the trendy and style-savvy, and everybody else who wants to sport the latest and greatest.

The talents of young, up-and-coming designers are being nurtured and their collections can be found along with those from top international couturiers and fashion houses at most of the city's upmarket malls and prime shopping areas. From either zany or chic avant garde to minimalistic Zen...

The twice-annual Bangkok Fashion Week and numerous trade fairs held throughout the year have helped significantly to raise the style bar and, along with fine, value-for-money workmanship and beautiful textiles like pure silk and cotton in abundance, the stage has been set to be fabulously in vogue.

Lakis Gavalas: The Fall of Greece’s Fashion King

In the last decade Lakis Gavalas had been celebrated as “fashion icon”, “king of lifestyle” or “guru of fashion’ in the domestic Greek fashion market. However, the clothes designer, collector of ulter-expensive Hermes bags and distributor of brand names like Burberry, D&G or Dior, turns out to be a bit deprived of clothes and accessories. In fact of clothes and accessories made off warm euros.
Tax inspectors found out that Gavalas failed to pay Value Added Tax for the time Jan – Oct 2010 and fined him with EUR 5 million.
A fine difficult to be paid in times of economic crisis and recession. Now he tries to sell his huge company premises. Wanna help? You’d need only 4 million euros for 12,244 square meters of luxurious studio, fashion stage etc etc.
The economic crisis has struck not only the common citizens but also the kings. Even if they are members  of the fashion royalty only.
As Greeks love to say “times are hard even for royalties”….
